You've retired and you STILL have gifts to give!

I still have music in me, absolutely positive about that
— A quote from the movie, The Intern starring Robert De Niro about a retired man who’s life took an unexpected turn and the choices and adventures that resulted.

Do you think or dream in pictures? So many times, when we are going on a vacation, I get pictures in my head of how things are going to go.

Just recently...

Just recently my husband and I were going to go to Florida to get away from the cold for a week. We had plans to kayak and swim and bike. The day before we went I slammed my finger in the door of our car and had to get stitches. The things we had initially planned had to be changed. We got to run and walk on the beach and do shelling. The picture I had in our plans had to change. It honestly was wonderful for what had happened going into that trip.I have heard stories of those that are retiring and the plans that they have and the things they are hoping to do. The trips they are planning to take and the things that they are hoping to work on in their home. I also hear them talk about the places they are hoping to volunteer and the things they are hoping to do with their children and grandchildren. A beautiful picture of what they have been looking forward to.

I also heard...

I’ve also heard people who go down the path that I have just described that hear a little voice that asks, if there is anything more that I can contribute or is this all that retirement is? There is a sort of longing for additional purposes. Like the Robert De Niro character, they are saying (mostly in their own head) “I still have the music in me!”

Are you embarking on that post-career adventure and wondering about the music in you? If so, then (click here) to schedule a complimentary call. Let’s talk about your music. A complimentary call is a full hour of us working together. If we are a great fit, then we can explore working together for a longer period. I can’t wait!
